February President’s Message
Ladies,
We know it is February when lovely cards, chocolates and flower arrangements appear at all our favorite stores. It is a time when we express our love for our family and friends. This is the month that celebrates LOVE! I think it is appropriate to speak of a very special love that we all share. That special love is our love for our country.
Love is expressed in many ways with gifts, words and most significantly through our actions. Our country is in a time of great crisis. Let us express our love for country, by taking action to make it better. It is not a time to be complacent. Each of us must commit to some task to strengthen our club, our community, our county, our state, our country.
When we meet this month, determine to do something. Don’t wait to be asked. Your membership indicates that you, as a member, wish to make a difference. Make a difference! Each of you has a special talent. Let’s all contribute this year to make this club a vehicle for change. We can and we will do what is necessary to demonstrate our love of country, not just in words but through our actions.
